Dr. Harikrishnan Ramiah

Senior Member, IEEE | CEng (IET UK) | P.Eng (BEM Malaysia).

Prof. Harikrishnan Ramiah is a seasoned expert in analog and digital integrated circuit (IC) design. He received his B.Eng. (Hons), M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia, specializing in IC design technologies.

His industry journey began in 2002 at Intel Technology Sdn. Bhd., Penang, where he worked on high-frequency signal integrity analysis. In 2003, he joined SiresLabs Sdn. Bhd. in Cyberjaya. Currently, he is a Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, where he leads research in RF integrated circuits (RFIC) and RF energy harvesting circuit design.

Prof. Ramiah also serves as the Director of the Center of Research Industry 4.0 (CRI 4.0) at the University of Malaya. He has authored and co-authored numerous scholarly articles and is internationally recognized for his contributions in analog IC design, RFIC design, VLSI systems, and power management modules for RF energy harvesting.

He is a member of the Institute of Electronics, Information, and Communication Engineers (IEICE), a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK, and a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). His research excellence has been recognized through multiple international research grants, including the Motorola Foundation Grant, and the prestigious Intel Fellowship Grant Award, which he received from 2000 to 2008.
